Obituary for Willard Nuel
WILLARD NUEL Jr., age 78, a US Army Korean War Veteran, passed away on October 24, 2011. Loving husband of Joan (nee Dougherty). Devoted father of Willard Nuel III and his wife, Kim; Steven Nuel and his wife, Patty; and Craig Nuel. Beloved grandfather of Devon, Tyler, Jade, and Sabra. Dear brother of Carol Strapple, Dorothy Flowers and the late Harry and Jimmy Nuel. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Thursday morning, 9:30AM until 11:00AM at L. A. DiGIACOMO, Inc. FUNERAL HOME, 1055 Southampton Road., Philadelphia, followed by services 11:00AM at the funeral home. Burial will be the next day, Friday morning, 9:30AM precisely, at Washington’s Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newton PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Delaware Valley Veterans Home, 2701 Southampton Road, Philadelphia, PA 19154.
