Obituary for Martin J. Joyce Jr.
MARTIN J. JOYCE, Jr., age 88, former Phila. Police Officer and WWII Navy Vet., passed away on May 26, 2014. Devoted husband of the late Rosemary (nee Luxton). Loving father of James M. Joyce (Lisa). Beloved Pop-Pop of Megan (Kirk), Erin, Joshua (Jen) and great grandfather of Charlotte and Amelie, also survived by a brother, William Joyce, and a sister, Bonnie Joyce. Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation Friday, 9:30AM until 11:00AM at L. A. DiGIACOMO, INC. FUNERAL HOME, 1055 Southampton Rd., Phila, followed by services 11:00AM at the funeral home. Int. Forest Hills Cem., In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hero Thrill Show, Inc., c/o James J. Binns, Chairman/CEO, 1818 Market St., Suite 2920, Phila. PA 19103.
