REVEREND MONSIGNOR JOHN P. BOLAND, age 86, on May 7, 2016. Pastor Emeritus of St. Rose of Lima Church in North Wales. Loving son of the late John P. Boland and the late Beatrice Christine (nee Murphy). Beloved brother of the late James Pius Boland, M.D. and his wife, Kathryn Watts Boland. Dear uncle of Helen Beatrice Boland; James Pius Boland, Jr.; Kathryn Ann Hill; Sara Boland Trepanier; Mary Angela Boland and Genevieve Marie Boland, also survived by numerous great nieces and nephews. A Reception of the Body will take place Sunday, May 15, 2016, at 4:00pm at St. Christopher Church, 13301 Proctor Rd., Phila. PA 19116, immediately followed by a viewing in church. Mass will be celebrated at 6:00pm. On Monday, May 16, 2016, a viewing will be held from 10:00am until 12:00pm at St. Rose of Lima Church, 428 S. Main St., North Wales, PA, 19454, where Monsignor Boland’s funeral mass will be celebrated at 12:00pm by Most Reverend Charles J. Chaput, O.F.M. Cap., Int. Holy Sepulchre Cem. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to St. Christopher Church or St. Rose of Lima Church at the above addresses.
