WASSILY BOJTSCHEWSKY, age 73, Sergeant Major, U.S. Army (Retired) a highly decorated veteran who served in the Vietnam War, Operation Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm, passed away suddenly on September 6, 2016. Devoted husband of Carole Abbott (nee Rappaport). Loving stepfather of Carl Abbott and his wife, Nicole, and Brandon Abbott. Beloved grandfather of Jackson Abbott. Dear brother of George Burke. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Tuesday morning, September 13, 2016, from 8:30am until 10:00am at L. A. DiGIACOMO, INC. FUNERAL HOME, 1055 Southampton Rd., Phila., immediately followed by words of remembrance service 10:00am. Burial with full military honors will follow in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA.
