Obituary for Joseph C. Troilo
JOSEPH C. TROILO, age 84, of Warrington, PA, passed away peacefully on May 18, 2018 surrounded by his family. Born on March 7, 1934 in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Joseph and Assunta (nee Miori) Troilo. He was employed by Saker Shoprite from June 17, 1968 until September 30, 2016, where he held the position of Senior VP of Finance and Executive Officer.
After graduation from South Philadelphia High School for Boys, Joseph proudly served in the US Army from 1954 until 1956. Upon his discharge from the Army he married Anita Costanzo on September 15, 1956. Joseph graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School in 1960 and was awarded his CPA certificate in 1962. He was a Life Member of the American and Pennsylvania Institute of CPA’s and a member of Who’s Who in America.
Joseph is survived by his devoted wife of 62 years, Anita; loving children Lisa Cataldo (Stephen), Vicki Buckley (Jim) and Marc Troilo (Daniela); and cherished grandchildren Gina, Tyler, Joe (Mikaela), Colin, Isabella and Marco. Dear brother to Domenic Troilo (Janet) and the late Charles Troilo and beloved uncle to Darren Dahl (Cathy). Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Wednesday, 8:45am until 9:45am at Mary, Mother of the Redeemer Church, 1325 Upper State Rd., North Wales, followed by funeral mass 10:00am. Int. Sunset Mem. Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Amer. Lung Assoc., 55 West Wacker Dr., Suite 1150, Chicago, IL 60601. Share memories at www.DiGiacomoFuneralHome.com.
