Condolence: Mark,

I was very sad to read of your Dad’s passing in the newspaper this morning. I was catching up on several days worth of newspapers and saw his name and read the obituary. When I stopped reading, my mind drifted back many years ago…when you lived across the street on Christine Lane.

I remember going to the Football Hall of Fame in Canton with your Dad and my Dad. I remember when you enclosed the back porch…sleeping out there and in the tent in your backyard. I remember the little gold Honda 50 mini bike and taking it down the Volney Rogers Woods to ride. I remember your Dad being there and letting my try it…..I fell off the first time. (Ha-ha) I remember your family traveling to Florida…and you would bring us back fireworks for the Fourth of July. I remember Tag, Pal and Patches Jones…shooting hoops in my driveway…street football, wrestling in the grass and so many other great memories of growing up across the street from you. When we sit on my parents front porch to this day…we look over at your old house and share memories of the Yohman family. Your Dad was always so friendly, warm and caring….to me growing up. I remember him always being so proud of his children and their successes.

Although it has been many years since we have seen each other…the memories and experiences we shared growing up…have stayed with me! My nephews and niece have heard so many “Dad”, “Uncle Bob”, “Yo” and “Bozo” stories growing up….they think they know you! (Ha-ha) My eyes are tearing up as I write this…. Thanks for sharing so many happy days of my youth…and for being my friend.

From my family to your family…my deepest and most sincere sympathy….at this time of sadness…on your Dad’s passing. You are in our thoughts and prayers! God Bless!

Condolence: Mark,Jodi,Paula,Mrs Yohman(Carol),
My deepest sympathies at this hard time, I will never forget all the great memories I have of Mr Yohman, or dirt, as Mark liked to call him. I can remember him driving big old caddy's to mg migets, your Dad had tons of Class and I can remember how hard he would work on things and the pride he took in doing the job himself. The best part was when he wanted Mark's help, I always knew how it was going to end up and so did Mark, which is probably why he liked to hide out at my house alot. When you guys moved from that house I was so sad, it was like losing my other family. I feel that same sadness now losing Mr Yohman and Jeff. Every time I visit my Mom, I glance over at your old house and the great memories flow as if they were not that long ago. How time flies. I love You all and you will be in my prayers.

Condolence: Hi Mark and family,
I am so so sorry to read about your Dad. You know how much I loved that boy! I loved him since I used to walk down to Choffin from Ursuline (after frequent detentions) to get a ride home from my Mom. Your Dad would always make time to say such a big hello to me. He always made me feel like a million bucks. I know he sure was good to my Mom. My Mom always talked about him like family - definitely the best boss she ever had. He was her boss - but also a true friend. I remember he bought her a beautiful leather luggage set when she retired! So many wonderful memories of your Dad. I remember going to your graduation party Mark and your Dad sitting with us in your garage! Wow - seems like yesterday! You know, your Dad died on my Mom's birthday - I'm thinking maybe she's celebrating with your Dad welcoming him. Anyways, Mark, old buddy, I just wanted you to know how sorry I am and how much I have always loved your Dad! He was a true gem! The apple doesn't fall too far from the tree though-ya' know! Love ya' Mark! God bless. - Moe
