Obituary for Anna D. Yoak

Anna D. Yoak
Anna D. YOAK (nee Pyott) passed away peacefully on September 26, 2011 at the age of 83. Anna was the loving mother of Phyllis Atkinson; Linda Jones and her husband, Rick; Kim Bernat and her husband, Tom; Christine Marlin and her husband, Bob; and the late John Yoak. Anna was preceded in death by her beloved companion, Jerry Bennett. Anna is also survived by her grandchildren: Christian Atkinson (Beth); Lynn Franceschino (Anthony); John Yoak; Brian Yoak; Jacqueline Minch (Matt); Jason Atkinson (Becky); Lindsay Jones and Bobby Marlin, along with 13 great-grandchildren. She spent most of her career as an operations manager at Mellon Bank in center city Philadelphia until her retirement in 1992. Anna most enjoyed spending time with her family and her dear life long friends. She loved the Jersey shore and the beautiful sunsets. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Thursday evening, 6:00PM to 8:00PM and Friday morning, 9:30AM until 10:30AM at L. A. DiGIACOMO, INC. FUNERAL HOME, 1055 Southampton Road, Philadelphia, followed by services 10:30AM at the funeral home. Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem, Pennsylvania. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Abington Memorial Hospital (AMH) Hospice, 2510 Maryland Road, Suite 250, Willow Grove, PA 19090.
