Three Times Blessed!

Brandon opened his door with a smile! My clients and I were experiencing our first visit to his lovely home. His Family was selling the home where he and his Brother & Sister had lived since 1999. Brandon impressed us by his knowledge and professionalism. He proudly answered every question the (then) potential buyers directed to him. (Just this moment spoke "1:15p.m 1/11/2013" with one of the Buyers. He shared with me that they, too, were impressed with the young man who knew so much of the home they were seriously considering.) The second time looking at his home, Brandon was raking the myriad of leaves in Autumn when living in the suburbs. He left us to our own devices at that time since we brought the Buyers' Parents. Brandon had completed the rakeing when we had completed our 2nd showing! We bid him "Good bye!" Impressed with Manner, Carriage, Courtesy and Knowledge, I had encouraged Brandon to attend the Yardley Thanksgiving Day Parade on the 17th of November. I told him that I believed that he would be an outstanding salesperson in this field. The Parade began at Noon. Brandon arrived shortly thereafter when I ushered him into our Managers office to have her convince him to become a member of our office. He seemed assured and happy! The climax of Santa's arrival was the last time I set my eyes on this beautiful young man. I'd spoken with Brandon a week later on his cell; wherein he bemoaned the fact that he no longer had his car. I tried finding another person close to his home who could ferry him back and forth to the Real Estate Classes. I was unsuccessful in finding that person; became busy with Holiday preparations; and had not reached out to him since then. Looking forward to meeting hime again this past Wednesday Morning for a "home inspection" only to have it cancelled by his Father the evening before. Mr. Lennon said it was due to a Family Emergency! The Listing Agent then shared with me that Brandon died the week before. I was devastated as if he were my own son... Devastated that I would no longer be able to see what I knew as a "smiling, confident" young man. Albeit, I was not able to say goodbye to this young stranger, he will be in my mind and heart (not reached easily) until the end of my days! ...so long Brandon. I will meet you in Heaven!
