Elizabeth “Betty” Turnbach Walsh (nee Matthaeus), age 85, passed away peacefully at her home on Dec. 10, 2013. Devoted wife of the late Joseph Turnbach. Loving mother of Mary Beth Gorton and her husband, Keith, of Macungie; Joe Turnbach and his wife, Theresa, of Downington; and Kathy Caldwell and her husband, Jim, of Philadelphia. Beloved grandmother of Katie, Matthew, Carrie, Jimmy, Bridget, Christian, Michelle, Michael and Grace. Dear sister of Mary Bruno of Hazleton and the late Jean Long and Bill Matthaeus. Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation Monday, 8:45AM until 10:15AM at L. A. DiGIACOMO, INC. FUNERAL HOME, 1055 Southampton Road, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania followed by funeral mass 11:00AM at Our Lady of Calvary Church, 11024 Knights Road, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem, Pennsylvania. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Wounded Warriors Project, P.O.
