Today was the beginning of a new chapter in the Sawicki Family; sadly, it as the first day without our Dad, Pop-Pop and Great Grand Pop. Dad was blessed with 93 years and 9 days and we were blessed with his presence in our lives. He married the love of his life, Marge in 1949 and they raised my brothers and I in a home filled with much love, great faith and constant laughter and the aroma of a Poor Mans Pound Cake in the oven! My father was a man of few words (unless you dented his car), but he taught us by example. He put his family first, he was always there for his children. He was an honest, hardworking man, with a deep love of God, always willing to help (or give golfing tips) never seeking any praise. He had an unbelievable sense of humor, which lasted to his final days. You taught us well Dad! Thank you for my happy childhood, for enduring my "eye rolling" teenage years and for always being my source of strengh and humor when I most needed it. Always on My Mind, Forever in My Heard, Love you Daddy
